Department will be issuing
flu shots at four locations
during the next week. In
addition, appointments are
being taken at its clinics
located from Delray Beach to
Jupiter and west to Belle
Glade.
Dates and times of
outreach locations are:

Saturday December 6,
2003 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Farmers Market Mall,
South Congress Avenue,
West Palm Beach.

2003 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
Bible Church of God,
Seacrest Avenue, Boynton
Beach.

Holy Name Catholic
Church on Military

Cases of the flu being
diagnosed in the western
United States indicates this
could be a very active
season and Health Officials
are encouraging people over
age 50 to get the flu
vaccine as a preventive
measure.
Each year over 36,000 people die from the flu and 114,000
have to be hospitalized for
treatment of the symptoms.
Symptoms include, fever
cough, sore throat,
headache, chills and muscle
aches. People can call 211
for information on times and
other locations.
