At this time the health
department clinics have
accepted as many
appointments as they can
accommodate through December
for flu vaccine. We are
working with our community
partners and doctors to
evaluate the status of their
supplies and anticipated
delivery dates.
Please monitor the news
media or call 211 for
updates as to when and where
the flu vaccine will be
offered in our area.
Priority for flu shots will
be given to the following.
-
Persons aged 65 and
older
-
Long term care
patients
-
Persons aged 2-65
years with chronic
health conditions
-
Children 6-23 months
of age
-
Pregnant Women
-
Health Care Workers
involved with direct
patient care
-
Household contacts
and out of home
caregivers of
children under 6
months of age.
